Design & Consultation
Every project begins with an idea. Whether from our collections or a bespoke vision, we start with detailed drawings and conversations to define the form and function of the final piece.
Timber Selection
We hand-select every board, reading the grain and character to find the perfect timber. The wood's unique story becomes the foundation for the furniture's final aesthetic.
Milling & Joinery
This is where raw lumber begins its transformation. We use precision tools to mill the wood to exact dimensions and then cut our signature joinery, like dovetails and mortise and tenons, by hand.
Assembly & Shaping
The piece takes shape as components are carefully joined. This stage is a slow, methodical process of fitting, clamping, and shaping, ensuring perfect alignment and enduring strength.
Sanding & Finishing
Countless hours are spent sanding every surface to a flawless, silken touch. We then apply multiple coats of natural, hand-rubbed oil and wax finishes to protect the wood and reveal its inner depth and color.
Final Inspection
Before leaving our workshop, every piece undergoes a rigorous final inspection. We check every detail, from the smoothness of a drawer's glide to the luster of the finish, ensuring it meets our exacting standards.
